Moo

Arrived back from Scotland late Saturday, so instead of going for a healthy dinner, we opted for a Chinese takeaway. When the delivery man eventually arrived, LH was in the garage sorting out stuff, whilst the children had disappeared. (As they are wont to do when there are un-fun things that need to get done.) I thus had the task of opening the door to the delivery man and paying for the food. The problem was I had whipped my headscarf off as soon as we arrived home, having worn it throughout the 10-hour car journey. And the only available hat was second son E's highland cow hat. So I put this on, opened the door and pretended that this was entirely normal in the T household.

  1. Not bad. At least you'll be guaranteed that food delivery guys will get to your doorstep sooner --if only to check out what kookie hat you've got on next. Hmmm. Come to think of it, I might just come out in Sevi's pirate costume next time we order pizza. - Lito

  2. Sad truth is that this IS pretty normal in the T household. I think maybe your chemo brain has erased previous similar moments: what about the kids all singing the "Ocado" song to the grocery delivery guy / the post man being greeted by LH in the Stormtrooper helmet (complete with voice modulator) / the time you dressed up as Scott from the Thunderbirds to receive the local Priest??

  3. The last one is a lie! And as for the others, I'm obviously suffering from selective amnesia...

  4. I've seen the hat and it really is very fetching - well on E at least! It was probably the shaggy highland cow outfit that scared him!
