When will I learn?

Argh. Was caught again without a headscarf this morning when the doorbell rang, so had to reach for the nearest thing - LH's Loch Ness monster hat. Luckily, it was just a couple of Jehovah's Witnesses wanting to draw me in. I actually believe they breathed a huge sigh of relief when I said I wasn't interested...

  1. I'm rather intrigued by the fact that whenever you have to reach for something nearby it just happens to be a novelty hat!
Do you have a whole rack of them just behind the door?
Cant wait for the day you just open the door 'unadorned with a 'whatever'!. Hey why not have a rack of lollipops handy. 'Who luvs ya baby'! Jehovahs love that!

  2. Err, no. We do not have a rack of novelty hats behind the door! These were impulsive buys by my husband and son on our last trip to Scotland - thus the highland cow and Nessie. And the reason why they are always nearby? Sadly the novelty hasn't worn off and said husband and son are still parading around the house with the hats on!

  3. Haha!! Put masks behind the door and answer saying, "Is it Halloween yet?!". I love the fact that you'll soon have the local reputation of that mad woman with the hats!! Hahaha!
