For the record... illustration did not depict wings, nor ears. They were crab claws.

(Now I know what illustrious artists have to contend with!)

  1. Obviously belonging to the rare 'spotted flying crab' of the Essex marshes. Known to swoop onto their victims in the dead of night and beat them to death with their weird flappy ears!

  2. I knew what they were honey. The clue is in the title of your blog. Obviously, some fail to appreciate your genius. Rise above it all and console yourself with the thought that the Roman Inquisition thought Galileo was misguided!

  3. It looked like a 'pesteng ahem' to me. I'll leave you to explain that one, Chinot. - Lito
